Rocks on the sea.

One of the most evocative view when you arrive in Sardinia are the rocks.
Everywhere you go in our small (?!) island you will find breathless monuments created by the wind and the rain.
Here some pictures I have taken in Capo Testa, Santa Teresa di Gallura.
Enjoy!

..and the funny face..

Do you want to play?

I have just found this browsing on the web and thought, why not?

Here's how it works....

The first five (5) people to respond to this post will get something made by me.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. What you get is what you get.

2. What I create will be just for you, with love.

3. It’ll be done this year (2009).

4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber. It may be weird or beautiful. Or it may be monstrous and annoying. Heck, I might bake something for you and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!

5. I reserve the right to do something strange.

6. In return, all you need to do is post this text on your blog and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your blog post.

7. Send your mailing address - after I contact you.

IMPORTANT: This offer is null and void if I do not see you post your own blog to pay this forward.

white flowers with surprise!

Beautiful flowers...
But if you try to pick them up you realize they have not the typical scent of flowers...
in fact it is wild garlic ,very common in Sardinia and in the west mediterranean area.

You can recognize the bulb..try to smell that too!!

It blooms between January and May.

water

There, behind these tiny flowers you can see water....

This winter heavy rains have created a pool,
that's where wild pigs come and drink when
nobody sees them!

Oliver thinks he needs a bath...

But then... he has always preferred to play in the sea water nearby!

Yellow.

Every year, in March or April, when you drive or walk in the country you realize Easter is close because everything is turning yellow, here and there.

Today I went for a walk to the beach.Once I arrived there I followed a path...

Gorse everywere. We call it Ginestra in italian.

Then I reached a point where you see the sea...

Ah!! Gorse!..

The colour is bright,

the scent is sweet,

but if you sting yourself with a thorn it will hurt for some days!!!

...this could be as well a way to describe life, isn'it?
