white flowers with surprise!

Beautiful flowers...
But if you try to pick them up you realize they have not the typical scent of flowers...
in fact it is wild garlic ,very common in Sardinia and in the west mediterranean area.

You can recognize the bulb..try to smell that too!!

It blooms between January and May.

  2. I love to cook with garlic but I didn't know that it has such a lovely flower.
Thank you for your visit and your comment on my blog. You asked about the collages: I am making most of them with a program called "photoscape" You can find it through google, I don't know if there is an italian version, I am using the english. It's free.
Your blog seems to be very interesting, I come back again!

  6. ...ma allora i fiori violetti a "palla" che abbiamo trovato a Santa Teresa di Gallura, ti ricordi, li hai fotografati: ...non erano fiori di aglio selvatico?? Belle però quelle foto, pubblicale.
