wild asparagus

Yesterday we spent some time
at a friends' house.
In the afternoon we went
for a short walk in their courtyard
(they live in the countryside)
and we picked wild asparagus that grow
happily here and there.
We got just a couple of handsfull,
enough for a good omelette!

  4. I didn't know asparagus still grew wild. Now I'm wondering if it tastes the same and has the same texture?

  5. Hi! I found you through Ulrike's blog. I hope you don't mind if I follow. I visited Italy last spring and fell in love with the country and the people. You are so lucky to live there. Carla

  7. I guess I never thought about asparagus growing in the wild. Does it taste about the same? I so love asparagus, and as soon as I can make a place in the garden I will try to grow some. I always enjoy the things you show us!!
